Content
For this course, videos and a script was created. Both will be sent out to anyone who has registered for the course and should be used for self-learning. Students will have to perform the given exercises on their own.
In addition to the videos and script, I will give additional Webex sessions to clarify questions and explain some topics in more detail.
Covered topics:
- Repetition of the most important statistical tests (t-test, Chi-square test and non-parametric tests like the Wilcoxon test)
- the multiple testing problem
- linear and logistic regression methods
- Survival analysis
- Repeated measures and longitudinal data analysis
We will use the statistical program R for statistical analysis and we will get to know some basic programming steps in R. Due to the online self-learning modus this semester, students will have to install R and R-Studio on their own PCs or Laptops.
